Nightshade Sketch by Toast435 Nightshade Sketch by Toast435
A quick Nightshade sketch. Basically Nyx, re-named. I just felt like practicing, so I did.

Wow, great anatomy on this, torso is perfect and the tail floats out behind the character just like it should, The head and hair are also great.
The legs, however, are, certainly not human, but doesn't quite seem to be fox-like, but this is an excellent sign of imagination, and staying limitless. My suggestion for the legs is to make the lower leg section shorter, and not so much like a lightning bolt shape.
My only problem with this pic (a very minor problem) is that the hair somewhat seems to be a solid mass, as apposed to strands of hair, but in my book, still a great drawing!
What do you think?

Very good. Her right arm is still a little wonky The way its bending and the slight curve to her lower arm is weird Hard to explain really. Could be perspective.

----o Remember stick and ball then think sphere and cylinder.

Really good left hand
her right hand I can tell she has her fingers extended out with knuckles on her hips.

The main thing I notice is her crotch -_-' Yes HER CROTCH. the two lines the one that extends into her forward leg and the one that defines the middle of her groin. the gap between them is way too narrow. That must hurt her lady bits x( The angle of attachment for the legs are too steep They should look like a flat "v". When stacking basic forms for the torso draw a center line to help sort out where things go
Looks really good though.

You're getting better :D

Awesome! Dude, I've been waiting almost all day for your comment! It's a shame that I've already started the lineart and colouring... Plus I'm trying a little project with this picture. It should be posted soon. It's really nice to get constructive criticism.

Oh I'm sorry ^^;
I had to work today

Anyway I was wondering If I could take a shot at drawing her. Might offer some more pointers you can only pick up visually.

A mix of a few animals actually. I'll explain when I post the coloured version.
